How GoAlert Works
GoAlert is a travel safety and SOS app for Android by Kumawatpulse Technologies that shares live GPS alerts with chosen guardians. Setup takes about five minutes and needs no account or registration.
Step 1 — Install GoAlert
Install the free app from Google Play. GoAlert needs Android 8.0 or above and
about 14 MB of space. Package: co.in.kumawat.goalert, version 1.2.3. No account,
login, or registration is required.
Step 2 — Add guardians
Choose trusted contacts from your phonebook. These guardians receive your SOS alerts with live GPS coordinates via Internet push notifications. Contact access is used only when you pick a contact; only the contacts you choose are stored, locally on your device.
Step 3 — Activate the shield
Toggle the Shield before you travel. GoAlert monitors your position while the shield is active and shows a persistent notification so you always know tracking is on. If you sense danger, trigger SOS and your guardians receive your exact coordinates within seconds.
What to know before you rely on it
- SOS needs Internet — alerts dispatch as push notifications, so both you and your guardians need connectivity. GPS tracking itself runs on-device.
- GPS and battery have limits — signals weaken indoors, in tunnels, or in dense areas; if the phone dies, GoAlert cannot send anything.
- Supplementary tool — GoAlert does not replace emergency services. In a real emergency in India, call 112 (Police), 108 (Medical), or 1091 (Women Helpline).
Honest limits: GPS, network, and battery dependent. Not a replacement for 112 / 108 / 1091. See the privacy page for exactly what data is shared and why, or contact support.
