Who GoAlert Is Designed For

GoAlert is a travel safety and SOS app for Android by Kumawatpulse Technologies that shares live GPS alerts with chosen guardians. Below are the everyday situations it is designed for — each described as a design intent, never a guarantee of safety.

Late-night commute

Designed for commuters travelling home after dark. Activate the Shield before leaving, and chosen guardians can follow the trip and receive an SOS with live GPS if needed.

Limit: alerts need Internet on both sides; GPS weakens indoors and underground.

Solo road trips

Designed for lone drivers on long routes. The safety check-in timer and impact detection add backup: a missed check-in or a detected high-G impact can trigger an automatic SOS to guardians.

Limit: remote stretches may have no connectivity, so alerts queue until signal returns — if it returns.

New-city travel

Designed for travellers navigating unfamiliar streets. Live GPS alerts and reverse-geocoded addresses help guardians understand where the traveller is.

Limit: map display needs Internet; GPS accuracy varies in dense urban areas.

Elderly parents

Designed for families who want a simple check-in channel for ageing parents. One-tap SOS and the low-battery alert (about 15%) keep family members informed without any account setup.

Limit: the phone must be charged, carried, and connected; nothing can be sent once it shuts down.

Teen commute

Designed for parents of teens commuting to school or coaching. Safe Zones around home or school suppress routine alerts, while SOS stays available for real emergencies.

Limit: requires the teen's explicit setup and consent — never install on someone else's device to monitor them.

Campus walks

Designed for students crossing large campuses at night. A short check-in timer for the walk plus Quiet Hours for the night balances awareness with rest.

Limit: campus Wi-Fi dead spots and battery-saver modes can delay or block alerts.

Honest limits for every scenario above: GoAlert is GPS, network, and battery dependent and is a supplementary tool only — not a replacement for 112 (Police), 108 (Medical), or 1091 (Women Helpline) in India. See how it works, the FAQ, and the privacy page (source of truth for data handling).
