Teen Commute Safety Alerts
GoAlert is a travel safety and SOS app for Android by Kumawatpulse Technologies that shares live GPS alerts with chosen guardians. It is designed for parents of teens commuting to school or coaching — described here as a design intent, never a guarantee of safety.
How does GoAlert help on a teen commute?
- Safe Zones for school and home. Mark trusted locations so routine arrivals don't raise alerts, while SOS stays available for real emergencies.
- One-tap SOS. The teen can share live GPS coordinates with parents instantly via Internet push notification.
- Guardian location requests. With Remote Request enabled, parents holding the connection code can request the teen's live position over the Internet.
- Check-in timer. A countdown for the expected commute; a missed check-in sends an automatic SOS.
What are the limits and rules?
GoAlert requires the teen's explicit setup and consent — never install it on someone else's device to monitor them without permission; misuse violates the terms of service. Alerts need Internet on both sides, and nothing can be sent once the phone dies. GoAlert is a supplementary tool — in a real emergency in India, call 112 (Police), 108 (Medical), or 1091 (Women Helpline).
